Our annual Walk of Peace and Friendship allows us to visit a number of places of worship, listen to informal talks about faith, share time with people from different communities and be part of an enjoyable interfaith event. This year 2016 we are in the west of the borough on Sunday 5th June. We start at 11.45am at the Heathrow Jamia Masjid (mosque) in the former British Legion Club in Park Lane in Cranford, now greatly redeveloped and expanded.  A short bus ride will take us to the St Mary and Pope Kyrillos VI Coptic Orthodox Church in Broad Walk, at the bottom of Springwell Road in Heston where Father Morkos has kindly arranged for us to have lunch (vegetarian). From there we will walk down Martindale Road to visit the Jalaram Jupadi Hindu Mandir, hear about their worship and service and see their new extension.  From there it is a short walk to Munster Avenue to visit the Dewachan Nepali Buddhist Centre.

Transport: We hope most people will be able to walk with us on this year’s pilgrimage.  However if you would like help with transport between the venues, please book this in advance by email info@hounslowfriendsoffaith.org or ring on our usual number 020 8560 5887.
